We met for our 2nd book club session after reading "My Sister, the Serial Killer" by Oyinkan Braithwaite. We all agreed it was a brilliant dark comedy about 2 sisters and their trauma bonded relationship, which we may not have picked up if it wasn't for book club... but we were glad we did. The next book is "Stocking Fillers" by Debbie Young - it's 12 very short stories about the Christmas experience.
We had a great time at this 3-hour-long interactive stage show, it was like a cross between bingo and a nightclub! There was with dance-offs, rave rounds, lip sync battles, throwback anthems, confetti showers, and prizes!!
Our firsts book club session was a success! We read "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach and everyone enjoyed this little tale about a seagull, which represented being the best version of yourself and not letting others hold you back. The next book is "My Sister, the Serial Killer" by Oyinkan Braithwaite
A few of us had read the book "It Ends With Us" by Colleen Hoover, so we decided to go and watch the movie!
Lots of the tribe are teachers or have kids, so we had a drink at The Star in Godalming to sigh a breath of relief for making it to the end of term!
We decided to give this quiz a go... we came last but we had fun! (The questions were a but odd, let's see how we get on at another quiz, haha)
So much fun at this 80s and 90s themed Silent Disco, in the stunning venue of Guildford Cathedral!
A lovely get together for Christmas and the tribe all surprised me with a gift voucher - so thoughful!
